FHCSD is one of the top 10 largest federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) in the country, operating more than 90 sites across San Diego County. The organization provides care to over 227,000 patients each year, with a wide range of services including adult care, pediatrics, women’s care, dental, vision, behavioral health, and specialty services. FHCSD is looking for a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact in greeting patients, registering patients, and placing patient information into the electronic record keeping system. This role also involves scheduling appointments, collecting specified payments, and completing insurance eligibility verification, while following policies and procedures for cash handling. The employee may encounter a high volume of patients depending on the area of responsibility.
