About The Position

At Clinical Associates, we make being healthy easier. We connect our patients to a seamless system of integrated medical care, which includes in-house specialists in areas of practice, from cardiology to podiatry. We also offer unique services like our nuclear stress testing facility. We are seeking to add a Full Time Patient Service Representative to our Endocrinology team! Our ideal candidate must be willing to work in a team environment and go above and beyond in providing customer service to our patients. We are a multi-specialty healthcare setting that offers enrichment and an opportunity for growth. Travel is required to our offices in Towson and Pikesville for this position.

Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D. (Required)
Basic arithmetic and money calculating skills.
Excellent patient care and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

Medical Office experience is preferred.
EMR skills preferred - Nextgen is a plus!

Responsibilities

Identifying and quickly assessing the nature of calls and acting appropriately to provide prompt, professional service.
Scheduling appointments
Verifying insurance / resolving eligibility issues prior to a scheduled appointment.
Collecting co-pays, deductibles, and account balances.
Obtaining prior authorizations for medical services and procedures as needed.
