This position is responsible for accurate and efficient patient registration, procedure scheduling, charge transmittals, collections, and procurement. Representatives must utilize quality customer service techniques to ensure patient needs are met. The role requires maintaining professional interpersonal skills with patients, physicians, and co-workers, and supporting department operations. The individual will demonstrate leadership abilities by resolving issues, monitoring schedules, assisting staff and patients, and ensuring effective and efficient departmental workflow. Additional responsibilities include performing other duties as assigned, complying with all policies and standards, and abiding by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI).
