The PSR II will be cross-trained to support multiple providers and serve as a resource. Responsibilities
- Answering and triaging calls, directing them to appropriate individuals or departments.
- Scheduling and authorization for appointments, surgeries, and ancillary services.
- Performing insurance verification functions.
- Processing and tracking all incoming and outgoing referrals.
- Sorting and depositing mail and patient information in compliance with HIPAA rules and regulations.
- Assisting in all work assignments.
