About The Position

Granger Medical Clinic has an immediate opening for a Full-Time (35-40 hours) Patient Services Representative at the Center for Breast Care at Riverton 3 days a week and possibly Fairbourne-West Valley 2 days a week. Candidate MUST be willing to travel to both locations in Riverton and West Valley. The ideal candidate will be confident, self-motivated and above all else compassionate, with the ability to manage a high volume of scheduling tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring patients are scheduled accurately and efficiently for imaging services, while also serving as a professional and welcoming point of contact. Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with providers, clinical staff, and patients are essential.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service, communication, multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Proficient typing and computer/keyboarding skills
  • Ability to manage complex scheduling workflows and prioritize urgent requests
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • High School Diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
  • Customer service experience REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and imaging procedures preferred
  • Familiarity with insurance requirements, referrals, and prior authorizations preferred
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred)
  • Previous experience in medical scheduling, radiology/imaging coordination, or healthcare office setting preferred
  • Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Schedule a variety of imaging procedures in accordance with provider orders and established protocols
  • Coordinate appointments by obtaining and verifying referrals, prior authorizations, and required documentation
  • Review orders for accuracy and completeness, ensuring appropriate imaging is scheduled
  • Communicate with patients to provide clear instructions regarding imaging preparation, arrival times, and expectations
  • Optimize imaging schedules to ensure efficient use of resources while maintaining quality patient care
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, and clinical staff to resolve scheduling issues or questions
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to scheduling inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information to support accurate billing
  • Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned
