Exceeds customer expectations through the delivery of superior service demonstrating empathy, patience, and a positive attitude. Effective communication to ensure customers have a full understanding of the scope of service, on-going aspects of care, and fully understand coverage and financial responsibility. Coordinates scheduling for existing patients to ensure continuity of care. Demonstrates effective communication skills to evaluate caller needs, provide solution, and closure to requests.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Work Experience: 2 years customer service, preferred
  • Experience working in a medical environment - familiarity with durable medical equipment, preferred
  • 2 years call center, preferred
  • Knowledge: Basic Computer Skills
  • Basic medical terminology for homecare field
  • Customer service principals and service expectations
  • Skills: Effective and professional communication with customer and referral
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Multi-tasking - follow through for completion
  • Call center experience, minimum of 6 months
  • Timeliness - prioritization of work
  • Adaptive, empathetic, and patient - positive attitude
  • Time management, priority setting & organization skills
