We’re looking for a committed and driven Patient Security Monitor who is dedicated to patient-centered care and recovery. Requirements

  • 1-2 years of facilities maintenance or security experience.
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to patients with substance use disorders, mental health conditions, infectious diseases, and criminal justice involvement.
  • Prolonged standing, bending, and stooping.
  • Must be able to walk and survey the premises for long durations.
  • Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
  • Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
  • Frequent keyboarding and computer use.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 years of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a secure and supportive environment by monitoring the facility, exterior entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to protect patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Help ensure a calm and orderly treatment experience by overseeing the dosing lobby until all patients have safely exited the building.
  • Respond to disturbances with professionalism.
  • Investigate incidents, prepare accurate reports, and notify leadership when appropriate.
  • Protect the integrity of our facility by monitoring security systems and equipment, reporting any signs of tampering.
  • Demonstrate hope, respect, and care, recognizing that every interaction can support recovery.
  • Embrace and understand that addiction is a treatable brain disease, not a moral failing.
