Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills daily to manage multiple appointment calendars and ensure efficient patient flow.

  • Proficiency with EHR and scheduling software enables the scheduler to accurately enter and retrieve patient information, minimizing errors and delays.
  • Problem-solving skills are applied when resolving scheduling conflicts or accommodating urgent patient needs.
  • Attention to detail and discretion are critical in handling confidential patient data and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments across multiple departments and providers, ensuring optimal utilization of available time slots.
