Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience in patient safety, quality improvement, or clinical healthcare environments
- Strong knowledge of CMS, DNV, and other regulatory/accreditation standards
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills
Nice To Haves
- Certification in Patient Safety (CPPS)certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 24 months)
Responsibilities
- Leading patient safety and quality improvement initiatives, system-wide
- Managing and enhancing safety event reporting processes and systems
- Conducting root cause analyses and ensuring effective corrective action plans
- Identifying trends through data analysis and implementing proactive prevention strategies
- Ensuring compliance with CMS, accreditation, and regulatory standards
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical workflows and patient outcomes
- Providing education, coaching, and guidance on patient safety best practices
- Supporting and promoting a strong culture of safety throughout the organization
