About The Position

The Client Care Surveyor plays a critical role in ensuring that all Oregonians have access to safe, high quality health care. This position supports the licensing and Medicare/Medicaid certification of designated health care providers through monitoring, inspections, consultations, investigations, and collaborative partnerships with the provider community and state and federal agencies.

Requirements

• Three years of experience in areas related to nursing, social work, developmental disabilities, dietetics/nutrition, or sanitation
• A Bachelor's degree in a health or human services field OR a license as a Registered Nurse
• LPN certification and/or experience will not meet the minimum qualifications.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in resolving complex issues while adhering to statutory and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience in addressing complex provider concerns and complaints.
• Experience in methods and techniques for analysis, review, interpretation, and coordination of services for a diverse range of provider types and complaint populations.
• Experience in conducting independent research, analyzing, and interpreting information to address problems and complaints, while making informed decisions.
• Experience navigating the dynamic landscape of federal and state statutes, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Experience creating, promoting, welcoming, and maintaining a culturally competent and diverse work environment.
