About The Position
The Patient Safety Attendant provides a safe environment for patients requiring close observation and assists with direct, indirect, and non-patient care responsibilities. The role contributes to quality patient care as a significant member of the health care team. This is a part-time position with 7 p.m.–7 a.m. shifts, two shifts each week. The schedule includes every third weekend, preassigned, and every other holiday plus one hallmark holiday.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- American Heart Association CPR certification.
- Demonstrated confidence in interpersonal relationships and effective communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospital or patient care experience and/or CNA certification.
- Basic patient care skills.
