About The Position

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, this position will provide one-to-one observation for patients determined to be at risk for potential injury to themselves or others.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write and communicate in English.
• Current BLS within a probationary period (90 days)
• Patient Monitoring Course must be completed upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of experience in the human service field is preferred; internships/field placement experience is acceptable.
• Ability to develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and family members/significant others
• Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills and the ability to express ideas in a clear, concise, and, legible form
• Ability to interface with all disciplines
• Ability to organize and prioritize multifaceted workload
• Exercises tact, diplomacy and good judgment at all times.
