You will rotate through multifaceted roles, including patient sitter, transportation aide, and hospital entry screener, showcasing your adaptability and commitment to a seamless patient experience. To be successful in this role requires a genuine passion for patient well-being, diligence in executing tasks, keen observational skills regarding patient conditions, and a proactive approach to continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements
- High School Graduate general studies
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities
- Act as a patient sitter, providing 24-hour visual observation and prompt response to patient needs and requests, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Safely transport patients, equipment, and supplies throughout the hospital, ensuring efficient movement and accurate tracking of assignments.
- Remains present with patient and has visual observation at all times
- Removes all personal items
- Places patient in red gown
- Adheres to Sitter Guidelines and Standards of Care for patient care populations served
- Communication
- Reports all behavior changes to nurse
