Supports by greeting patients, positively identifying them, searching for all current appointments, reviewing and updating demographic information as necessary, reviewing consent agreements along with HIPAA release documentation, following registration processes and guidelines, and collecting payment as appropriate in preparation for the patient’s visit with their healthcare provider. This position may require driving a company vehicle or a personal vehicle; therefore, employees must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check, possess, and maintain a current valid Texas Driver License, and proof of current insurance to be subject for mileage reimbursement. The work environment is a clinic setting with exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment. The position requires manual dexterity, sitting, standing, stooping, reaching, kneeling, crouching, bending, walking, and lifting up to 15 lbs. without assistance. Close vision and ability to adjust focus are also required.
