About The Position

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a Partial Part Time Patient Registration Rep for its Ames Business Services department. This position will "float" as needed to Ames locations. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or HiSET
• Excellent verbal, written communication, computer skills, proficient typing skills.
• Customer service experience and working with the public required.

Nice To Haves

• Prefer one year work experience, preferably in a medical office setting.

Responsibilities

• Greeting, instructing, registering, checking in and directing patients and visitors.
• Answering patient billing questions.
• Taking payments.
• Balancing cash drawer for different locations in Ames.
• Working misc reports.
• Giving general information on clinic services in accordance with McFarland Clinic Employee-Level Vision related behaviors.
