As a Patient Registrar, you’ll be the welcoming face of our organization—assisting patients with scheduling, registration, and insurance verification, while providing exceptional customer service. You’ll help ensure a smooth and positive experience for patients and their families, all while supporting our mission to put patients first.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong clerical skills and proficiency with PC-based systems.
  • Familiarity with insurance carriers and coverage guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a hospital, medical practice, or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of insurance verification processes.
  • Familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems.
  • Some college coursework or degree.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients during scheduling, registration, and admissions.
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-certifications and authorizations.
  • Screen for medical necessity and ensure accurate documentation to support billing and reimbursement.
  • Provide clear communication and support to patients and families throughout their visit.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to uphold our high standards of care and service.
