Patient Registrar - Urology Practice - Queens Medical Group As a member of our administrative team, you will discover what sets us apart - passion for the individuals and families in our care. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, handling: Providing a reassuring presence during the patient experience Answering multiple telephone lines Demographic and insurance information collection Registration for procedures and appointments Schedules and maintains daily appointments Collects co-payments and fees Check eligibility in real time This is a full-time day shift position (8:30am - 4:30pm), Monday - Friday. The hours may change to accommodate the needs of the practice. This position is based in our Fresh Meadows location and may need to travel to other locations as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Qualified candidates have prior administrative, patient appointments and surgical scheduling experience.
Nice To Haves
- College degree preferred or equivalent experience in a patient care setting.
- Experience with customer service in a healthcare setting
