Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare registration or patient access experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with EMR systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with patient information
- Comfortable handling insurance verification and patient payment collections
Responsibilities
- Register patients accurately and efficiently upon arrival
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Collect copays and other applicable patient payments
- Room patients and assist with patient flow throughout the department
- Provide outstanding customer service to patients, families, and visitors
- Enter and maintain accurate patient information within the EMR system
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies and patient confidentiality standards
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to support efficient operations
