The Patient Programs Data Analyst is responsible for managing data analysis and reporting needs for Erie’s Patient Programs teams, supporting grant reporting, contract/ payor requirements and initiatives, and department and program quality improvement efforts. The Analyst will work closely with department leadership, agency quality leaders, and identified subject matter experts on entry, reporting, and analysis of data as it pertains to operations and clinical quality. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited college or university with 2 years of data and analytics experience OR
  • Master’s degree with 1 year of data and analytics experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year of data entry, management, or analysis experience required.
  • Highly competent in Excel, including functions such as PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, data validation, and managing large datasets. Ability to use Excel to analyze trends, create reports and support operational decision making.
  • Experience using data visualization to communicate outcomes and objectives.
  • Statistical analysis.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software and technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Comfort with multitasking with demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Works well independently and enjoys supporting and interacting with multiple teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Epic EMR system and reporting functionality strongly preferred
  • Interest in community health, public health, or health care.
  • Experience with meeting facilitation, project management, and process improvement strongly preferred
  • Experience using Vizio or other data visualization software helpful but not required.
  • Experience with analytics/reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with department leadership to optimize and continuously improve data collection, monitoring, reporting for programs and organizational priorities.
  • Lead the development, refinement and ongoing management of centralized data reporting process to ensure accuracy, consistency and accessibility across programs.
  • Analyze department data to identify trends, gaps, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Align agency quality metrics with department initiatives, supporting prioritization and performance tracking.
  • Monitor and manage clinical quality dashboards for HIV, HepC, and PrEP programs
  • Other duties as assigned.
