About The Position

Ensures the placement of patients into beds in accordance with physician service, patient accommodation needs and patient preferences. Utilizes the EPIC registration demographic to capture metrics necessary for all aspects necessary of bed control. Collaborates as a team-based member to deliver best patient care with physician practices and extended care facilities and the patient transfer notification process. Utilizes effective communication with all personnel to ensure highest quality in bed control. Ensures proper procedures regarding all aspects of bed control are followed. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

  • Minimum High school diploma / GED
  • Completion of medical/secretarial transcription program or equivalent
