The Patient Nutrition Representative is responsible for patient meal service food on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup, special requests and needs, and in-between meal food delivery. This role involves communicating patient food issues/concerns and needs to team members within the department and interacting with nursing employees regarding patient nutrition needs or requirements. The representative must react accurately and effectively to all changes to ensure efficient timing of services and accuracy of physician's ordered modified diets.
