About The Position

This role is for a Patient Nutrition Assistant working per diem shifts from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 2-3 days a week, including every other weekend and rotating holidays. The position is located at UW Health Swedish American Hospital. The role is part of a comprehensive compensation package that may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements

Serve Safe Food Handler certification required to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Assist patients with meal selections.
Deliver meals and snacks to patients.
Monitor patient intake and document information.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nourishment area.
Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals regarding patient dietary needs.
