About The Position
Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Lake Norman is located in the Medical Office Building next to the new Atrium Health Lake Norman Hospital in Cornelius, NC, offers exceptional non-surgical and surgical Orthopedic care for patients of all ages. Our comprehensive services include conservative management care by offering injections, Orthobiologics , home exercise programs/referrals to physical therapy, total joint replacements, ligament/tendon repairs and more. We have a non-surgical sports provider, total joint orthopedic surgeon, sports surgeon, and hand/upper extremity surgeon. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Navigator to join our team. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Minimum of 1 years of RN experience preferred
- Current certification in BLS required
- BSN degree required
- Certification in the appropriate specialized field within 1 year of being in the position required
Nice To Haves
- Prior orthopedic and ambulatory experience preferred
- MSN preferred
