This is a Part Time position where the Patient Navigator helps patients understand their care, coordinates appointments and follow-up, advocates for patient needs, removes obstacles to accessing healthcare, connects patients with resources, supports patients emotionally and administratively, and ensures communication among all care team members. The role also involves scheduling patient appointments, managing appointment software, handling patient inquiries, billing, and insurance verification, and recording patient information in medical records. Clinical duties include preparing patients for examinations or treatments, taking and recording patients' medical histories and vital signs, assisting physicians during physical examinations, collecting samples for laboratory tests, and performing basic laboratory tests and preparing specimens.
