About The Position

Responsible for light food preparation, putting away storeroom stock, pushing carts to food pantry's, units, or catering functions, washing dishes, traying food for patients and assigned cleaning of the kitchen.

Requirements

Must be able to work all varying shifts: 2:00pm-7:00pm/ 6:00am-2:30pm/10:30M-7:00pm
Drivers License required
Must be able to work the hours specified.
Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.

Nice To Haves

High School or GED Equivalent
Prior experience in Food Service

Responsibilities

Prepare food items for patients, cafeteria, and catering.
Meet standards established by Leadership for food preparation, quality, sanitation, and efficiency.
Accurately preparing patients trays.
Deliver all products according to time schedule set for the specific item.
Make recommendations to Leadership for all menus.
Complete daily assigned cleaning in accordance with approved standards.
Responsible for delivering excellent customer service by utilizing the appropriate scripts developed for Food and Nutrition Services.
