About The Position

MercyOne is seeking a Patient Logistics Medical Director to lead in our well-established, statewide health system. This is an opportunity to serve in an influential role within MercyOne. The MercyOne Medical Group leads the way to improving health care for nearly 4.2 million patients per year across the state of Iowa and beyond. Our transformation into a physician-led, professionally managed governance model of leadership begins with our integration into a system of clinics offering consistent and convenient care that also offers hospital care if you need it. This new model of care allows us to optimize our care delivery across the state of Iowa. More than 1,300 physicians and advanced practice providers care for patients within the MercyOne Medical Group. We’ve integrated provider services and employment functions. We utilize a statewide recruitment approach with system wide medical group decision making processes, and we align our medical group with the PHSO regarding collaborative clinical operations. Included as a partner in our Medical Group, the MercyOne ACO (Accountable Care Organization) is recognized as one of the most successful in the nation.
