About The Position

This position establishes early contact and builds trust with families to keep them updated and ease their anxiety during the surgery journey. The Patient Liaison connects patients, families, and medical teams to ensure clear communication and quickly resolve any issues. They also confirm all pre/post surgery checklist items are complete to ensure a smooth transition into the next stage of care and address and resolve patient complaints immediately to restore trust and improve their hospital experience.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
