About The Position

Assists patients with menu selection process to ensure patients receive appropriate nutrition related items. This role involves interacting with patients to collect food selections, entering them into the computer system, and verifying dietetic physician orders. The position also requires utilizing proper food handling and storage techniques, assembling and delivering patient trays according to schedule, and maintaining floor stock.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or working towards completion.

• Three months to one year food and nutrition experience.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients to collect appropriate food selection. Edits and enters selection into the computer system and verifies proper dietetic physician orders.
• Utilizes proper food handling and food storage techniques when assembling patient trays and when receiving, rotating, and સ્ટોரிங் food.
• Delivers and retrieves food carts and ensures that patient trays are delivered in accordance with the tray delivery schedule.
• Maintains and assembles the floor stock.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
