This position is for a Patient Services Manager to join our Patient Services Team in White Plains, NY at Burke Rehab Hospital.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in food services or related field OR bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or related field
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn electronic medical record and diet office systems
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Certified Dietary Manager certificate, Registered Diet Technician, or Registered Dietitian

Responsibilities

  • Supports implementation of patient food service needs based on medical direction and patient population
  • Assists with hiring, training, and onboarding of patient service team members
  • Follows dietary restrictions for special or modified diets to ensure patient preferences align with diet order limitations
  • Provides excellent customer service to help achieve patient satisfaction goals
  • Maintains compliance with regulatory standards, including HIPAA and patient rights policies
  • Participates in patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and facility-wide quality programs
  • Supports within Retail and Catering departments
