About The Position

AVI Foodsystems at Aultman Hospital is seeking an applicant for the Patient Food Service Attendant. This position manages the delivery of patient dining. The right applicant will possess excellent customer service skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent entry-level position for any health services major, as it includes patient interaction and integration with other patient support services. We conduct pre-employment background checks and drug testing. EOE

Requirements

• Active Listening and Speaking – giving full attention to what others are saying.

• Reading Comprehension, time management, good judgement, and decision-making.
• Must be able to walk and/or stand for long periods of time.
• Professional appearance required.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare experience not required; there is NO moving or repositioning of the patient.

Responsibilities

• Use an IPAD to enter meal orders and communicate menu choices to patients.
• Serve patient meals accurately and in a timely manner.
• Promote the highest levels of quality and service.

Benefits

• Great starting rate of $15.00/hr weekdays and $16.00/hr weekends with continual opportunities to make more money.
