In the Patient Financial Service (PFS) role, you will help coordinate a smooth patient flow process by greeting patients and checking patients in and out of a busy specialty clinic. Working with the team in this role you will be responsible for checking patients in, answer incoming phone calls, preparing patient charts and creating estimates for upcoming visits, taking payments, communicating with clinical staff all while delivering excellent customer service. Location: Casper Specialty Clinics Hours of Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 5:30PM At Banner Medical Group, you'll have the opportunity to perform a critical role in the community where you practice. POSITION SUMMARY This position coordinates a smooth patient flow process by answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, providing registration of patient and insurance information, obtaining required signatures following established processes, procedures and standards. This position also verifies insurance coverage, validates referrals and authorizations, collects patient liability and provides financial guidance to patients to maximize medical services reimbursement efforts. This also includes accurately posting patients at the point of service and releasing information in accordance with organizational and compliance policies and guidelines.
