About The Position
Haas Dental Derry is seeking a motivated and personable Patient Financial Care Manager to join their dynamic team. This role involves overseeing patient financial operations, ensuring profitability, compliance, and efficient resource use. It combines accounting, billing, and business strategy, requiring collaboration with patients, providers, and insurance companies to ensure patients understand their financial responsibilities and have access to available resources. The role also involves providing end-of-month reports to upper management regarding provider production, collections, outstanding claims, and aging balance reports.
Requirements
- Strong accounting and financial analysis skills.
- Knowledge of insurance plans, Medicaid, and financial assistance programs.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive financial information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Excel, accounting software, and financial tools.
- Ability to manage accounts from multiple practice locations.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in healthcare financial counseling, dental billing, or a related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide upper management with end-of-month reports relating to provider production and collections as well as outstanding claims and aging balance reports.
- Oversee insurance billing, patient billing, and collections to maximize revenue.
- Reconcile accounts receivables.
- Collaboration with our Financial Operations Manager.
- Ensure adherence to dental billing regulations.
