About The Position

Under general supervision, this role identifies, contacts, and assists patients without health insurance in finding coverage for their services. The position involves working with patients to navigate insurance options and secure financial assistance for their medical care. There may be multiple openings at different sites, and the successful candidate might be required to float across multiple UHS facilities. The primary work shift is day, with a regular scheduled weekly hour of 40.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have CAC or ability to obtain CAC within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree in Human Services.
• 3 years of experience in a related field, preferably with a hospital or social service agency.

Responsibilities
