About The Position

This is a full-time position with a weekly hour of 33 and an FTE of 0.825. The role is for the Evening shift at the Burnet Campus within the Patient Feeding Department. The starting pay range is $16.75 - $20.27, with potential for additional pay based on differentials and benefits. Annual pay may vary based on FTE status. The position requires assembling patient meal trays, stocking and loading meal carts, and delivering trays accurately and timely throughout the hospital. The role also involves ensuring meal accuracy, managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment, demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and reliability, and working effectively both independently and as part of a team. Adherence to food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention standards is crucial. Customer service is a key component, requiring courteous service to patients, families, and staff, addressing needs, and escalating concerns. Professional communication with patients, families, staff, and care teams is expected, along with accurate information sharing and collaboration for efficient meal delivery. Physical requirements include standing and walking for extended periods, pushing and maneuvering meal carts, and lifting/carrying food trays and supplies while maintaining safety and service standards.
