About The Position

Just Kids Pediatrics is seeking a full-time Patient Experience Professional (Receptionist) to join their team, specifically at the Capitol Hill Clinic in Oklahoma City. The role focuses on providing excellent pediatric care with customer service as a top priority, requiring compassion for patients and community development. The position involves managing phone calls, scheduling and confirming appointments, patient registration, and handling insurance benefits and eligibility. Bilingual Spanish speaking is a must, and while two years of medical office experience is preferred, it is not strictly required. The shift is Monday to Friday, 10 am to 7 pm, with hours subject to change based on practice needs.

Requirements

Bilingual (Spanish)
High school diploma or equivalent
Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communications skills
Ability to work independently and multi-task
Basic computer skills
Types 25 words per minute with 96% accuracy
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Support a team-based environment by remaining flexible with scheduling and location assignments, including floating to other clinics when needed to maintain quality patient care

Nice To Haves

Minimum two (2) years of medical office experience
Minimum of 2 year experience registering and scheduling patients
Familiarity with basic medical terminology

Responsibilities

Answer incoming phone calls, route to appropriate locations, take messages, and return voicemails
Schedule and confirm appointments
Register patients into the computer system
Obtain demographics and financial information, and enter it into the computer system
Run patient insurance benefits and eligibility
Create a positive experience through core values with internal and external customers
Collect and make copies of all insurance cards and driver's licenses
Keep work area clean and organized
Perform clerical tasks as required
Accurately process financial transactions
