Responsibilities

  • Greet patients, families, and visitors promptly and professionally, demonstrating excellent customer service at Baylor Scott and White Sunnyvale.
  • Perform reception and registration duties, including collecting and accurately entering demographic and insurance information.
  • Verify patient identity and ensure all required documentation is completed correctly.
  • Explain and obtain signatures for required forms, including Consent for Treatment, Conditions of Service, Advance Directives, and other regulatory documents.
  • Answer inbound and outbound calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
  • Operate telephone and communication systems according to hospital procedures.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Prepare and organize patient records and registration materials.
  • Support efficient patient flow and departmental operations through accurate and timely work.
