About The Position

As a Patient Experience Ambassador, you will support and provide a stellar experience for patients and their families in the Emergency Department. You will play an essential role in keeping patients and their families as comfortable as possible, while anticipating and meeting their non-clinical needs as they await care by the clinical team. You will act as a liaison between patients/families and the clinical teams. As a Patient Experience Ambassador you will create, implement, and champion patient experience initiatives in the Emergency Department to assist in improving the overall patient experience.

Requirements

  • Two years previous customer service experience required
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • One year previous patient experience and clinical experience preferred
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred on hire / required prior to completion of unit orientation.
