About The Position

We are seeking a Patient Experience Ambassador to help create exceptional dining and hospitality experiences for patients and their families. As a key member of the patient experience team, you'll build meaningful connections through daily interactions, support individualized meal experiences, and serve as a trusted resource for patient dining needs. This role is ideal for a compassionate, service-oriented professional who is passionate about enhancing well-being through genuine hospitality, personalized service, and our commitment to REAL food.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2–4 years of customer service, hospitality, healthcare, or patient-facing experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to resolve concerns with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Passion for hospitality, patient satisfaction, and service excellence.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and accountability in a healthcare environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current on patient experience best practices.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Leadership experience and experience working with volunteers are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct new admission visits and patient rounding to build meaningful connections and ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Gather, document, and communicate patient feedback, preferences, and service concerns to support continuous improvement.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction metrics and identify opportunities to enhance service and hospitality.
  • Collaborate with nursing, clinical, and food service teams to support individualized patient needs and service recovery efforts.
  • Share patient experience insights during team meetings and contribute to action plans that improve satisfaction and engagement.
  • Support Unit Host programs through observations, audits, and coaching opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records, rounding logs, and patient experience documentation.
  • Promote a culture of hospitality, service excellence, and accountability throughout assigned units.
  • Partner with leadership to support patient satisfaction initiatives and operational goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
