About The Position
Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID is hiring a Patient and Equipment Transporter. This position is responsible for the internal transport of patients and the distribution of assignment equipment. This position will work various days and shifts, helping with coverage as team members are sick or on vacation. Shifts are expected to be afternoon/evening similar to: 2pm-10:30pm.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in customer service and/or patient care preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Internal transport of patients
- Distribution of assignment equipment
- Respond to all questions and requests in a timely manner, providing the highest degree of customer service to patients and staff alike.
- Coordinates with team to dispatch transporters appropriately.
- Execute established procedures for decontamination, inspection, delivery of equipment and customer service relations.
- Demonstrate use of transfer techniques and equipment as needed.
