As a Patient Eligibility Technician , you’ll help ensure that every participant entering our studies is set up for a safe, positive, and well-supported experience. Your work helps advance new treatments while building trust with the people who volunteer to be part of important clinical research. Requirements

  • HS diploma
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (understand messages, communicate on job-related topics, and write simple messages).
  • Attention to details
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting. In lieu of a degree, 2 years of relevant experience is acceptable.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and clinical software.
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with participants.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a regulatory or compliance-focused environment is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify participant medical records to confirm they meet study criteria.
  • Update and maintain accurate records within our electronic database.
  • Follow up with participants by phone or in writing, including communication of clinically significant results or clarifying documentation needs.
  • Partner with physicians to ensure timely approval of medical files.
  • Perform quality checks on screening documents to keep studies audit-ready.
  • Update reports once participants are accepted onto a study.
  • Assist with gathering data for team performance indicators.
  • Support inter-study transfers and ensure clear communication of updates.
  • Prepare participant letters and ensure proper delivery.
  • Support additional clinical tasks as needed.

  • Salary Range: $40,900.00 - $69,500.00
  • The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
