About The Position

The Patient Driver position at Providence Seaside Hospital in Seaside, OR, is a Per Diem/Day Shift role. The primary purpose of this role is to provide transportation, companionship, and assistance to program-eligible clients within Clatsop County, and to Portland or Longview for medical appointments as necessary. Additionally, the driver will back up the Volunteer Coordinator in the Volunteer Services office as needed. The role is part of the Partners for Seniors program, which supports community members with personal limitations to maintain their independence. The Driver is assigned tasks by the Volunteer Coordinator and is expected to transport clients or perform assistance tasks in a dignified and caring manner. A passion for serving the elderly and needy is highly valued.

Requirements

• Comply with all state laws and requirements for driving
• Provide proof of driver license upon request
• Provide proof of auto insurance upon request
• 5 years driving experience

Responsibilities
