Patient Disability/FMLA Specialist & Deposition Coordinator

We're looking for a Patient Disability/FMLA Specialist and Deposition Coordinator to be a vital link between our patients and providers. We currently have offices in Rib Mountain, Wausau, Merrill, Medford, and Plover to service much of central Wisconsin. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- 2+ years of experience in a healthcare, legal or administrative support role
- High level attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients submitting FMLA and disability forms.
- Review paperwork for completeness and accuracy before routing to appropriate providers.
- Track and manage documentation timelines to ensure timely completion and return.
- Interpret medical records to support disability claims and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations.
- Coordinate and schedule provider depositions and attorney conference calls.
- Manage logistics for in-person and virtual depositions, ensuring all parties are informed and prepared.
- Have monthly one on one meetings with the HIM Supervisor.
- Participate in monthly team huddles.
- Abide by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) state and federal regulations.
