Discover how our Patient Services Manager makes a difference every day—watch now!Job Summary We are seeking a Patient Services Manager to lead our Patient Services Team in an Acute Care setting in Collierville, TN. Baptist Memorial Collierville Hospital is a 90 bed critical access hospital located in Collierville TN, We serve the residents of Collierville, Memphis and Northern Mississippi cities. Manager will be directly involved with Patient Services and assist in Retail area. Oversee all standards, reports, meetings, and development of the Patient Services Area. Opportunity to develop 7+ associates who will be your direct reports. Ensure schedules are in accordance to business needs, equipment and service ware are in good repair and stock, daily huddles for open communication performed, build report with nursing units staff, and assist Executive Chef with monthly promotions.

Requirements

Associate degree with one (1) year work experience in food services or related field, or bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or related field
Minimum of one (1) year experience in food service management preferred in an acute care, nursing home or K-12 or higher educational setting
Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record, and diet office systems

Nice To Haves

Certified Dietary Manager certificate, Registered Diet Technician or Registered Dietitian, preferred
ServSafe® certified, desirable

Responsibilities

Establishes goals and oversees implementation of patient food services needs based upon medical direction and patient population
Hires, directs, coaches, trains, and develops around 7 patient service team members
Complies with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of the diet order limitations
Ensures patient services staff assists in achieving stated patient satisfaction goals
Complies with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies
Participates in/ leads patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
