As a Customer Service Representative in Patient Registration, you will be the initial point of contact for patients checking into the hospital. This role involves assisting patients through the registration process, confidently answering their questions with clarity and compassion, and quickly gathering accurate information in a fast-paced environment. You will build trust with patients during potentially stressful or overwhelming moments. No prior healthcare background is required, as R1 provides comprehensive training, making this role an excellent starting point for a career in healthcare.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Ability to pass background check, drug test, and meet vaccination requirements

Responsibilities

  • Work across multiple computer systems to register patients efficiently
