PRN Patient Coordinator – Daytime Availability
About The Position
Heartland Imaging is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and compassionate individual with excellent communication and customer service skills to join our energetic, patient-focused team! If you enjoy making a positive impact on the patient experience and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, we’d love to have you join our team as a PRN Patient Coordinator supporting our outpatient imaging centers in Louisville, KY. This PRN position provides coverage support for our Dixie Highway and Shelbyville Road locations. We are seeking an individual with daytime availability who can provide flexible coverage based on the needs of our centers. Scheduling may include Monday–Sunday daytime shifts, with opportunities to pick up shifts as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service skills to patients and visitors
- Dependability and flexibility with scheduling
- Comfortable working across multiple outpatient imaging locations
- Availability for daytime shifts
Responsibilities
- Welcoming, registering, and overall patient coordination
- Phone correspondence
- Scheduling appointments
- Inventory management
- Medical record management
- Collaborating and leading the Imaging Center team in providing excellent patient care
- Supporting the operational goals for both the Center and the organization
