About The Position

At Complete Hometown Physical Therapy, a H2 Health company, we believe exceptional patient care begins with an exceptional patient experience. As a Patient Coordinator, you'll be the welcoming face of our outpatient orthopedic clinic, helping patients navigate every step of their rehabilitation journey while ensuring the clinic operates efficiently each day. Our Cuero clinic serves the local community in an outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation setting. Complete Hometown Physical Therapy has served patients throughout Lavaca and DeWitt Counties since 2014 and emphasizes personalized, patient-centered care. As a Patient Coordinator, you’ll work alongside our clinical and administrative teams to help patients feel welcomed, informed, and supported throughout their care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems and standard office software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to the Schertz clinic for coverage when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous medical office experience with insurance verification and physician referrals preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact, greeting patients with professionalism and outstanding customer service.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain an efficient daily clinic schedule.
  • Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations as needed.
  • Coordinate physician referrals and manage incoming documentation.
  • Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
  • Collaborate with therapists and clinic staff to support exceptional patient care.
  • Assist with front office operations and maintain a welcoming, organized clinic environment.
  • Travel to our Schertz clinic periodically to assist with front office coverage as needed.
