About The Position

Rankin Physical Therapy, an H2 Health company, is hiring a part-time Patient Coordinator for its outpatient clinic in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. The Patient Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and helps connect patient care with administrative operations. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service, coordinating appointments, verifying insurance, handling referrals, maintaining confidential patient records, and supporting front-desk and clinic operations. The coordinator works with clinicians and administrative staff to support a positive patient experience and maintain a welcoming, organized clinic environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare or medical office setting.
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and basic computer skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Proficiency with office software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Additional education in healthcare administration.
