About The Position

LoPour & Associates DDS – Smiles By Design is a family- and general-dental practice located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We have proudly served the Albuquerque community for over 26 years. We are seeking an individual who enjoys dentistry, is passionate about working with patients, is detail-oriented, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. Providing our patients with the highest level of professionalism, customer service, and clinical excellence is at the core of who we are, and we consider it a privilege to care for them. Our office operates on a 4-day work week, allowing our team to enjoy full 3-day weekends. We value efficiency and teamwork and rarely run late for lunch or at the end of the day. We maintain a positive workplace atmosphere and do not tolerate gossip, negativity, chronic tardiness, or unprofessional behavior. Our team is committed to supporting one another while providing exceptional patient care. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of dental front office experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of DENTRIX dental software experience
  • Knowledge of dental insurance benefits and filing is required
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing treatment plans
  • Verifying dental insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Discussing financial arrangements with patients
  • Scheduling treatment appointments
  • Processing referrals and payments
  • Checking patients in and out
  • Providing patient communication and education
  • Handling phone and email correspondence
  • Managing information
  • Light tidying of the patient waiting area
