About The Position

This is a full-time, onsite position requiring 40 hours per week, with standard working hours from 8:30 AM to 5 PM. The role emphasizes a healthy work-life balance while meeting business needs. The position is both a customer service and patient support role, requiring the ideal candidate to thrive in a service-driven setting with a polished, professional presentation. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team is essential. The role involves customizing patient care journeys, managing consultation details, promoting the surgeon and practice results, and contributing to marketing efforts. The right candidate will be comfortable building rapport with patients, offering reassurance and support throughout their decision-making process, and helping deliver a seamless, high-touch experience consistent with an upscale practice environment.

Requirements

  • Associate degree required
  • Proven record of excellence in customer service and sales required
  • Customer Service: 2 years required
  • Sales: 1 year required
  • Administrative Support: 1 year required
  • Strong verbal, written, and in-person communication skills are essential

Nice To Haves

  • Medical office administrative experience is helpful, but not required
  • Previous sales experience in plastic surgery, cosmetic dentistry, or dermatology is preferred
  • Relevant experience in hospitality or retail sales will also be considered

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with chart preparation, patient follow-up, and appointment scheduling
  • Speaking with prospective and existing patients by phone
  • Answering questions and providing guidance regarding procedures
  • Serving as a liaison between the surgeon and patient
  • Quoting fees
  • Scheduling surgery
  • Collecting payments
  • Supporting patients and their families throughout the consultation and surgical process
  • Customizing each patient’s care journey
  • Managing the details of the consultation process
  • Promoting the surgeon and the practice’s results
  • Contributing to practice marketing efforts
  • Building rapport with patients
  • Offering reassurance and support throughout their decision-making process
  • Delivering a seamless, high-touch experience consistent with an upscale practice environment
