Requirements

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work with patients of all ages
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Works well independently and in a team environment

Nice To Haves

• Previous dental experience preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of customer-facing experience

Responsibilities

• Scheduling patients in accordance with office policies, protocols and time blocks.
• Confirming contact information including address, telephone number and email.
• Working closely with the clinical team by communicating any necessary information to assist each patient.
• Answering high volume of patient telephone calls.
• Collecting and posting payments from patients.
• Communicating with other dental offices and specialists regarding referrals, existing x-rays, claim history and any conditions of mutual patients.
• Scanning letters, referrals, and records from other offices into patient’s account and document appropriately.
• Preparing all new patient and recall paperwork for the next day.
• Gathering and verifying insurance benefits.
